Intern of the Cosmos

I'm grateful because for the first time, i can see my life clearly.

[April 10, 2025] [GDGoC UNSRI Game Jam 26]

"Nice to meet you? Are you a pro?"
"No"
"Honestly i'm a newbie, could you tell me how many jams you joined before?"
"Six"
"-_-"

This jams is really memorable for me, as i literally goes back with the engine i used in Walking Bomb. Yes, Godot. As other programmer don't understand how to use unity.

However, with a big impostor syndrome after failing two times. I tend to play it safe here, small scoped puzzle game. But turns out this game opening my eyes, that a complex game don't always need a complex script. Games like Minecraft are never designer to create a crazy automated farm, it's just a bunch of small things connected to one.

So in this game, i just learned a big principle, "Code less, do more". A plug n play system, programmer never need to code it all, the only needed is the creativity of the level designer. By that logic, our game becomes a fun and comedic puzzle game due how frustratingly fun it is.

My google document template somehow get upgraded here, we had a TIMELINE tab. Where it's listed all what we need to complete during specific date.

Even with randoms, the team is more organized here. Then i realize my system is already people-agnostic enough. The scars before is just how my management skill have been forged, not a failure.
