How did they procrastinate when it's impossible for them to do it all in 1 day?
[April 5, 2026] [Cookie Jam #3]
This game starts with a good premise, a side story about an regular knight that holds the demon king army while waiting for the real hero arrives.
But the problem is, the actual 'heroes' in my team procrastinate so much that they literally just made a good progress just in the last 24 hour.
Some programmers and artist are stuck and they did not told anything until the last hour. Why frustrates me so much. I mean i already failed once in Absolute Zero, would i fail again for the second time?
The answer is yes, the game did not meet expectation even though the scope is not really big. Though we still fail.
One of the thing i realized is. THERE IS NO A SINGLE DEADLINE! So they tend to wait until they are ready or get to the last days to work on it, not knowing there is still much time left. Even one artist can't give the actual asset in time to the point i need to find a free assets by myself.
This double lose gives me a doubt that i really can make a good team. Since most of the work are done by myself and if not, the game fails.
But then exactly after this i tried to join a local jam where i go with an randomized team, not the old team. So i could get some fresh air from two failures in a row.
