Somehow, i'm not even surprised anymore

This game had some serious twist. No, not in the game, but in real life. If you read "An Unfinished Game" article that i write here, you know. That game jam runs in 11 September 2026 while this one runs in 14 September 2026, which means i run two jams at once.
But with my experience, finally, i don't get panicked and drop one or do bad for both. In surface, both projects even got better in terms of scope control and completion.
However there is one thing, i know i will join two jams on this rate, so i divide Slafurry Studios resources and making sure the project could run even without me coming back and forth. I even prepared for twist like my level designer got some private problems and the left mid jam, so i switch them with my Audio Engineer to save my time for finding and judging audio assets. The main programmer left too due there another competition and the half of the last week. I know that risk so the project keeps going.
Our bots doing better too, this project would be too much without those itch io deploy and drive retriever bots.
Then comes one problem, "An Unfinished Game" somehow going into the final on Gametoday 2026. Which is bad considering i joining that jam expecting we would lose.
With the submission time for both project are almost in the same time (September 29th, 2026 & October 3rd, 2026), that's almost making me got a decision paralysis. Because i want to finish both. But i know its impossible to finish both completely.
So with a heavy heart, i choose to sacrifice this one, but not like dropping the project. Its just unfinished, while i making "An Unfinished Game" getting into ending scene for finals. Which something ironic.
After this, i got a discussion with my higher ups studio members, to know... if Slafurry Studios will release the first game that have been prototyped in game jams...
Which one it will be?
