The Paradox of "Newness" in Personal Branding
In an age where templates and AI-generated content are everywhere, many people use different styles in their posts. However, long exposure to these different styles can make us feel "numb" to design.
The Paradox of Choice
New templates and AI-generated styles surface every day. This creates a paradox: what we call "new" doesn't actually feel "new" anymore because we see it every day.

A Different Approach: Consistency Over Novelty
Most people don't actually recognize the specific templates you use; they only care about how the content is presented. In fact, it takes more mental energy for the brain to process a brand-new layout every time.
So, I asked myself: What if I stand out by reusing the same template over and over again? Would it feel "newer" than using a new template every day?

The Result of One Year of Consistency
I have been reusing this exact carousel for over a year—in college, at work, and even for informal discussions. The funny thing is, people now easily recognize me by my color pattern alone, yet they rarely remember a random template they only see once.

Unifying My Digital Presence
Even though people like new things, they often crave something consistent. With that in mind, I decided to apply my signature color pattern across my entire digital footprint, from LinkedIn and GitHub to my personal website.
1. LinkedIn & GitHub
I aligned my professional profiles to ensure a seamless transition for anyone looking at my work.

2. The Personal Portfolio
The final destination is my website, where the branding comes together in its full form.
